With everyone being on social networks, having their own platform to become a news central, the "I was first" syndrome is becoming a bigger issue. The article Breaking News Is Broken brings up a good point. Everyone wants to be first with sharing the latest news. And being critical of the sources and think twice before posting, well, a good story is a good story. Right?
