Back in 2011 I blogged about Vivian Maier, the street photographer who was completely unknown until an amateur historian by accident found thousands of negatives. Then the world of Vivian Maier started to uncover. How can you not be intrigued by that story?
So John Maloof (the man who found the negatives) and Charlie Siskel (Bowling for Columbine) decided to find out. The result is the documentary Finding Vivian Maier, which they directed and produced.
I can't find a date for when the movie premieres, but so far the trailer is out. And it looks really promising.
Mostly location independent, originally from Sweden, calls Berlin home and travel more than I intend to. See what I’m up to at the moment here.
For fun I also write, take pictures and have a newsletter.
